We offer 4 different levels when it comes to a modified TTB on your Bronco or 4x4 F150. The Level 3 TTB remains stock width, is modified for camber correction, has plating added for strength, and beam pivots converted to 1" uniballs. Replacing the pivot with a uniball gives the beam much more solid engagement in your pivot brackets, eliminates deflection and allows the beam to cycle larger travel numbers without prematurely wearing a stock rubber bushing. The difference between this and the Level 2 Beams is the truss that extends across both sides of the differential on the driver side beam. We also open up the window on the passenger beam to prevent the axle shaft from contacting the beam at full droop. This is recommended for Broncos and 4x4 F150s with increased wheel travel looking for better range of articulation and a stronger beam than stock.

To: Prospective DM Customer,

In July and August 2024 my son and I bought several items from Desolate. Custom Twin I-Beams, HD Suspension components, Transfer Case Skid Box, and HD Front Disk Brake kit.

When I was a student, literally 50 years ago, and a GMI student, one of my engineering professors made a comment, “always look at the welds, it speaks to quality”. We are building an ‘81 Bronco XLT with Dart Iron Eagle 427, FB 470R trans and Atlas transfer, and we wanted only first class front to back. Desolate is ONLY First Class. DM's quality of materials and workmanship is incredible to see and feel. No robots, only hand done by professionals. With DM every corner, every weld (under-cut for penetration) every powder coat is smooth and thick, and no weld splatter on any surface. Even the packaging is Top Shelf with bubble pack around each part or vacuum packed. You remember getting the Summit box and you say a prayer before you cut the tape that is already broken open or detached and resealed by UPS.

I mean the DM parts we received are the Gold Standard. And the pricing is, wow… how can they do all this at this price? Still need a Skid Box for the gas tank but we are a pay-as-you-go family builder… so sometime in the spring.
