This fuel tank skid is CAD designed and laser cut from a single piece of 5052 grade 3/16" aluminum and press broke for maximum durability and superior styling. It replaces the thin factory sheet metal mount that is known for easily bending and damaging or even puncturing your factory fuel tank potentially leaving you stranded. It bolts directly to your trucks cross members using your existing factory hardware.

Fuel tank skid plate - awesome!

I purchased the Fuel tank skid plate for my 1996 Bronco to replace the old factory part. The Desolate skid plate was a perfect fit, very well designed and looked so much better!

Fitment was great. The aluminum is thick enough to protect better than the OEM skid plate and doesn't add too much extra weight to the Bronco.
