The 6" "Better" Combo combines popular front and rear kits to deliver a 6" lift kit with exceptional ride quality. Key advantages of this kit compared to alternative 6" kits include robust Modified Stock Width Beams, an optional Fox 2.0 shock package, optional Billet Aluminum Radius Arms, and progressive Deaver Q80 leaf springs. This high-end lift kit offers a significantly improved ride compared to stock suspension and provides enhanced flexibility.
This lift kit features a 4" lift coil paired with Desolate Motorsports Billet Coil Spacers and 2" Drop Pivot Brackets to achieve the full 6 inches of lift while keeping your vehicle within alignment spec. Customization options include choice of Fox 2.0 or Bilstein 5100 series matching shock sets, as well as selecting either Steel High Clearance or Billet Aluminum Radius Arms that pivot on massive 1.25″ heims. Both extended radius arm options are designed with more caster angle than factory radius arms, resulting in a more relaxed driving experience. The Modified Stock Width TTB Housings included in this kit has been reworked to correct camber and is reinforced with 3/16 steel plating that is formed and welded to all vulnerable areas of the beam. The stock urethane pivot bushings are removed, and machined cups are welded in place to accommodate stainless steel 1" uniballs. This replacement enhances the solid engagement of the beam within the pivot brackets, eliminates deflection, and allows for greater travel without prematurely wearing out stock rubber bushings. Additional modifications to the beams include an integrated bash guard and mini truss. The kit also includes front extended stainless brake lines, front limit straps, a full drop pitman arm, and adjustable alignment cams, which are preset for this kit.
For the rear suspension, Deaver’s Q80 progressive leaf springs are utilized, along with extended shackles and shackle hangers, providing about 4" of lift over stock depending on vehicle weight. Rear shocks mount in factory locations for simplicity, and new axle perches are included for recommended re-indexing of the pinion angle. This mid-travel kit can achieve 11” of front wheel travel and 14" in the rear while cycling 35” or 37” tire.
Note: The dual fox option is a 2.0 body with reservoir for the main shock and auxiliary fox is standard 2.0 without reservoir. Vehicle must have factory dual shock coil bucket if choosing dual shock option. Rear Deaver springs are not recommended for towing or heavy loads. All vehicles require alignment after lift install.
