This setup is the only shock hoop on the market that will allow the install of up to a 3.0" diameter coil over shock while retaining the stock inner fender wells, keeping all your factory electrical components secured. This is the same shock hoop kit to used with all Desolate Motorsports Stage 3 and Stage 4 suspension kits. This setup will save you a ton of time and money with its easy installation. The engine cross over, support tubes, and shock mount all junction together for an extremely durable design. The hoops locate on the frame rail using existing factory holes, then utilize the engine crossover to fixture the assembly together properly before welding.

Note: Some models require modification to air intake. For more information, please contact us. Factory inner fender wells can be reinstalled with minor trimming to clear the coil overs.

Features:

  • Only setup on the market to fit a 3.0x12" diameter shock
  • Pre-built hoops minimize build time
  • Steel Tube or Billet Aluminum engine cross over

This kit is a huge time saver from trying to build your own shock hoops. It does take finess to get this kit to lineup correctly and had a few small details to address which I will be nice enough to share what I learned and corrected

1996 Bronco with ABS.

1. Bolts for the the cross member will Gaulle while installing and turned down with a lathe .005" can use a grinder if thats what ya got.

2. Where the ABS PUMP/HCU is cut the bracket flush with the frame and push inwards torwards engine to clear brake lines from the driver side tube and weld or bolt to frame.

3. There is an ABS accelerometer inside the driver side frame rail that needs to be relocated or cut one of the bolts off the meter and remove alignment bolt used on the kit and refasten to original location.

4. Reuse a portion of the old coil buckets that retains your brake line and cut and reweld to frame at position of your choosing.

5. You will need to relocate the engine harness once you put in the driver side hoop. I had to loop over the A/C line and undo the connection at the fuse panel and go thu the back two bars on the hoop to remove any chance of rubbing.

Thats what I got, happy with the purchase.. Happy Welding!
