Bronco Complete Rear HD Suspension Kit — 05+ Super Duty Axle

The Bronco Complete Rear HD Suspension Kit was developed out of a simple necessity. As Super Duty axle swaps have become more and more popular for obvious reasons we needed a more robust leaf spring capable of properly supporting and controlling the un-sprung weight and torque of larger 8 lug axles.

This kit combines a proprietary heavy-duty leaf spring developed in partnership with industry leader, Deaver Spring, and purpose-built suspension components to provide increased ride height, improved handling, additional wheel travel, and noticeably better ride comfort than stock components.

Included in addition to the HD Leaf Springs are fully fabricated drop shackle hangers, extended shackles, billet rear upper shock mount, weld-on lower shock mounts, and 5/8” rear leaf spring hardware kit. Each component was designed around the others to create a cohesive, robust rear suspension system capable of handling the demands of a heavy-duty axle swap all packaged under the cab.

Paired with this kit are custom configured King 2.5 x 10" smooth-body shocks with piggyback reservoirs and compression adjusters valved specifically for the Bronco and provide superior damping and noticeable ride comfort. The compression adjusters also allow you to fine-tune the suspension to suit your vehicle, terrain, and load.

For the best driving experience on and offroad with a lifted vehicle, we recommend adding the optional Rear Sway Bar Kit while installing these components.

Installation Requirements:

This kit is mostly bolt-on installation with some welding required on rear axle for the new spring perches and lower shock mounts.

Installation requires removal of the factory wedge block and new spring perches must be welded to the rear axle to re-index the pinion angle. The factory upper shock mount and rivets must also be removed, along with the factory heat shield. The muffler will need to be relocated for clearance.

Professional installation or experience with suspension fabrication and welding is recommended.
